My love for health and fitness experience began as a dancer, which, combined with years of trial-and-error gymnastics and acrobatics, landed me a spot on the University of Washington Cheerleading team. This experience shaped my approach to life, and I strive for this level of fulfillment, energy, and physical fitness in my daily life. In graduate school, I worked part-time teaching aerobics classes, pilates, personal training, and nutrition counseling. I went on to secure the titles of Miss Fitness Illinois, Miss Fitness New York, and placed twice in the Miss Fitness USA competition.
In addition to pursuing my business and educational goals, I continue to dance and choreograph, and am a fitness athlete model for Sports Unlimited Talent Agency.
If you don't blink you can catch me in my most recent projects as body double to actress Nia Long in the movie 'Are We Done Yet?", and flipping in the latest Kroger, and Taco Time commercials (hey, don't flinch just yet, they have a healthy menu option as well as vegetarian options).
As a business owner, University adjunct professor, PhD candidate, fitness athlete model, volunteer, mother, and wife, I can relate to anyone who thinks they are too busy to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Health and Fitness is possible for anyone. I would like to share some of my life-changing tips with you. I am also available for private and small group trainings, please call me directly for rates:

While in the Master's International program for Community and Economic Development in Illinois, I gained applied skills in non-profit organizations as an administrator for the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal and on weekends as an overnight attendee at a local transitional-housing project for mentally ill adults. Over the past ten years, I have worked in front-line, management, and director level positions in Seattle, Illinois, and New York. I currently write, consult, and teach at Seattle University.
In addition, I am a doctoral candidate in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and part of an Executive Coaching Research Team. My favorite area of research is in leadership and team development, evidenced by my role as advisor to the Seattle Pacific University cheerleading team. My focus in this field embraces the emerging research that incorporates health psychology and sports psychology, and applies it to organizational settings (Bryant, Fairbrother, & Fenton, 2000; Lloyd & Foster, 2006).
